From the ISM day ahead meetings at Staff Conference 2014. Dr. Yaw Perbi, director of International Student Ministries Canada, talks about the importance of leadership development for international students.
Good morning! Wow. What do you say after such an introduction? Thank you for being so gracious, Jovin. Sometimes I do 300 to 400 speaking engagements a year, ah, last year in 9 countries, and I get all kinds of introductions. This was a very gracious introduction, thank you. But my best by far was the shortest. And this was in Liberia last year. The guy who did the introductions just came up and said, “Ladies and gentlemen, you do not need to introduce a lion. Just open the cage.” And with that the cage was opened! But yes, it is a real honor to be here. It is a real honor. And I don’t mean it lightly at all. Thank you Ron – where’s Ron? – Ron has been working hard and Jovin, and thank you Brian as well, to get me here. Good to see you, Leiton. We were – Leiton and Lisa and I were in Bangalore together in June, we had a great time. And God bless Lisa for the amazing work that she’s done with the ISM.
I called this a homecoming because I’ve always been an IFES person. In fact, I’m a second generation IFES person. Both my parents served as executive student leaders when they were on campus at the University of Ghana. So both my dad and I were presidents of our university Christian fellowships – of course mine was a Christian medical fellowship, so…And I’ve always been a – last year I trained leaders in SLEFES, which is the Sierra Leone Fellowship of Evangelical Students; GamFES, the Gambian Fellowship of Evangelical Students; GhaFES, the Ghana Fellowship of Evangelical Students; LiFES, the Liberian Fellowship of Evangelical Students; and all of that so this, this is family. This really is homecoming. And like she said, ISMC has been around for 30 years. ISMC is the sister organization or rather should I say daughter organization of ISI. ISI gave birth to ISMC about 30 years ago. And in Canada in terms of international student ministry we are the biggest, in terms of staff were are about 100 staff that work with international students. There are about 265,000 international students in Canada, yes. So that’s actually more per capita than the US, because while you have 800,000, it’s to a population of what, about 300, 350 million? But Canada is barely 35 million and we have 265,000 international students. So it’s a very, very – so we need more missionaries, so tell your friends! Not you! I don’t want Ron to say I came to poach you! But tell your friends to come over to Macedonia and help us! Hallelujah!
And uh, you know one of the things this generation needs to get rid of is egos and logos. It’s about the kingdom. It’s not about any of us. Right? Is this InterVarsity? Is this Power to Change, is this Cru, is it --? It’s about the cross. That’s the only logo that matters. It’s about Jesus. He’s the only person that matters, all right? So let’s hold hand and do this together. My ISMC guys were really excited that I was coming and they bring you greetings. This morning I am going to speak on a subject – well, we know that the conference itself coming up tonight it’s on world changers. It’s on world changers. And if any group attending this year’s InterVarsity conference has the best chance of producing world changers, it’s us. And I’m not just saying it because I’m in ISM. Actually, God pulled me out of a number of things I was doing and said, “This is what I’m doing now!” If any group in this place – I know there’s all kinds of groups, I’ve seen some of them – but I’m telling you if there’s any group that’s going to produce world changers at this 2014 triennial conference on a massive scale, in every part of the world, at the same time, in a sustainable and systematic way, it’s us! It’s us. And that is why I’m going to so passionately talk about intentionally developing leaders!
So this morning I’m going to speak to you on a subject I’ve entitled “Creation Crieth!” You can tell I’ve been reading too much of the King James Version. Creation Crieth Manifest! World changers show forth! Where are you? Creation crieth. And my aim is to show you how critical your role is as an ISM-er. How urgent the need is so that you have a pattern to regard how you see both yourself and your international students and scholars that God brings your way. You see, if you’ve never been told this before, let me tell you this. Never forget this metaphor: This group is the Association of Midwives. We are midwives! God has put you in charge of the birthing of world changers. The question is, are we going to be skilled at what we do? Are we going to be passionate about what we do? But we are midwives! And dare you not kill those babies. And make sure that you give them the best – I trained as a doctor, and I saw some terrible midwives. We’ve read scripture, we’ve seen some midwives like those two girls in Egypt who even when the king said “Kill them!” will not kill them, and so God honored them. You are midwives. We are midwives. And God has put us in charge of birthing a new generation of world changers.
Are these Chinese or Africans? How many think they are Chinese? I will explain this picture shortly. But how many of you were in Cape Town in 2010? There was the [conference of world evangelization] it was awesome. And one of the things that happened – and this will all tie in to what I am talking about – one of the things that happened in Cape Town was that we realized that missions had changed. In fact, the term that was used was that “the center of gravity of Christianity has shifted.” Mission is no longer oh, people from the west going east, or people from the northern hemisphere going south. No. Missions has totally changed. And this generation had better get it. And I hope that the college professors are updating their books, because you see, you can’t put God in a box. Missions has changed! Missions has so changed that now missions is about God’s people everywhere going everywhere. So you have Brazilians preaching the gospel in Portugal. You have Chinese who are missionaries in Israel. Check that out! The biggest churches in Europe are pastored by Africans. What’s going on? We came back from Ghana last week like Jovin was saying. We came from +35 weather straight into -31 weather. What a baptism. But one of the things that happened in Ghana was that we did a presentation about what God was doing among international students in Canada and North America and I challenged the African church and I said, “If missions has changed, and God is sending missionaries even from Africa to Canada (because that’s what I am) then no longer should we send missionaries, we should send the mission dollars to keep them there.” And at that gathering we raised about 10,000 U.S. dollars. In Africa. In fact, as of last week, our biggest supporter was not even Canadian, it was African. Who’re living in Ghana, not earning dollars. Missions has changed. And that is what brings me to this picture, because these are my three little children, celebrating the Chinese New Year last year. Because I pastor a Chinese church! Because God is so on the move missions has changed. This is a section of my congregation. You see, I tell people, “Only God can call an African to pastor an English-speaking Chinese church in a French city in North America.” Missions has changed! Let me tell you about how I came to this point because the context is important as I throw out everything I have regarding our important new roles as midwives in raising leaders.
I come from Ghana like Jovin said in West Africa – so that’s Ghana. And you see, unlike a lot of people that want to migrate from Africa – oh Africa, I want to go find better pastures elsewhere, green pastures – I had a different passion. I so wanted to stay in Africa. In fact I was on a mission to prove to people that you can make it in Africa without going anywhere. Because the same Lord is Lord of all and blesses all who call on him, and that is true, and that is why our biggest supporters are actually from Africa and not Canada. But I was so much on this path, to the exclusion of everything else. In fact 1995, 1996, 1997 I was in the U.S. and people would encourage me to stay and I said, “No, I am going back to Africa.” So there was someone who said, “Oh, America needs talent like you” and I said, “Africa needs me more.” I had an interview with CNN in 1996 and the guy who did the interview was so impressed he said, “Do you want a job with CNN?” I didn’t even think twice and said, “No, I’m going to Africa.” So I go back home, do medical school, come out in 2005, new young man alright, new doctor, new car, new house. They say if you see a guy open a car door for a girl either the girl is new or the car is new – you heard that before? Anyway. But I had both! New wife, new car, new apartment, all of that. I had a TV program, national TV program, had access to the President, life was great! Until [] came in. 2006 I was sitting in this younger leaders gathering in Malaysia when God clearly spoke to me. He said, “It’s my world! And I send you where I want you! It’s my world.” That changed everything. I knew something was about to happen. This was 2006.
By the beginning of 2008 my wife and I were reading the scriptures. When Genesis chapter 12 literally jumped off the pages, when God said “Leave your country, your people, your father’s household, and go to a land I will show you.” And I remember telling my wife, “Honey, by the end of the year we will not be in this country." What I don’t know was where. What I don’t know was when. But I just knew it in my spirit that God was ejecting us for his greater global purposes. By June I found myself in the next country, Cote d’Ivoire, because Cote d’Ivoire was in civil war and the United Nations had been asked to go and keep peace and I was a military doctor, I was a captain in the army and a doctor for the UN I was asked to go there. This was June. By July God had kicked my wife out of Ghana to be in Montreal to get her masters in economics at Miguel University. Wow. So I’m not going anywhere and all of a sudden I find myself – that’s this for those of you who don’t believe [photo of UN ID badge] – blessed are those of you who have not yet seen but believe. That’s me in my UN beret and everything. So I’m not going anywhere, I’m not going anywhere, and all of a sudden I find myself in three countries. I’m sitting in Cote d’Ivoire, my wife is in Canada, and our son is in Ghana with my mother-in-law. Oh wow. Later I will tell you some other stories, but I’m telling you, God has his purposes. And just to tell you how stubborn we were about we’re not going anywhere, we’re staying in Ghana, my wife is actually Canadian by birth. She’s a second generation international student because she was born in Canada when her father was doing his Ph.D. in Macmasa University. So she was born in Hamilton! Do you know it means for an African to carry a Canadian passport? Never use that passport! Since they came back to Ghana when she was two. Never touched that passport! Because she’s as crazy as I am – we’re staying here, blah blah blah blah until 2008 when God said, “GO!” And one of the defining moments in 2008, I won’t tell you the whole story, couldn’t take the whole – was this accident I was involved in. And a United Nations vehicle I was traveling in. We could talk about this another time. But this testimony has changed the lives of many young people; many people have given their lives to Christ because of this testimony. There were a few of us traveling in the car, the other two died. Including my colleague doctor, he died on the spot. And that was a defining moment. Because all the while I had balanced medicine, and ministry as we know it – not to say medicine is not ministry, but pulpit ministry raising leaders – and I just knew at that moment that God has spared me for a purpose beyond medicine. And so I said, “Lord, when this UN contract is done I’m done. I want to spend the rest of my life preaching the eternal gospel of Jesus Christ and raising young leaders!” And that is what has brought me here today.
And a few weeks ago I got an email from Sierra Leone. One of the young leaders I trained in Sierra Leone – this would be a child soldier – has now finished university. He read a book I wrote called Youth Power challenging young people to their potential, and decided to write one himself for the young people in Sierra Leone. So he has a book – it’s on my desktop right now, I’m editing it. Ladies and gentlemen, creation is crying for a manifestation for the sons and daughters of God.
Who’s this? Kim Jung Un. Who is he? North Korea President, Prime Minister, what, Supreme Leader. Anything else you know about him? Got a ski resort built for him. He recently killed his uncle who helped him to come to power, you know that? Yep. Recently killed a number of Christians in North Korea, some of them just for having Bibles and for having movies from South Korea. But I think you want to say something. [He studied in Switzerland.] He was an international student. About a month ago I was preaching in a church in Calgary in Alberta when this church was up in arms and praying for North Korea and praying for this crazy leader and as the church prayed I sensed the Holy Spirit just speaking to me and saying, “But this guy was an international student.” What if? What if our colleagues in Switzerland..? I’ll leave it at that. But that is what we are talking about. Because these students that pass through our hands are leaders in the making, listen, they are leaders by default. They are already on the leadership track. It is only going to turn out whether they are going to be good leaders or bad leaders. But they’re going to be leaders anyway. You cannot get a degree from the United States of America and go back to Cambodia, you cannot get a degree from the University of Toronto in Canada and go back to Afghanistan and not be a leader! These students that pass through your hands - and I’ll be talking about, in the second session I’ll be talking about some more practical ways we can actually train them as leaders because let me tell you something it’s time we started looking at things much more strategically.
These are leaders in your hands and you are midwives! And creation is crying for these leaders! Do you know there are more international students now on earth than ever before in the history of the world? Between the year 2000 and now, the number of international students has doubled from 2.1 million to about 4.2 million. And it’s projected that by 2025 there’ll be 7.2 million international students. The numbers are not dwindling! The next time we are here, three years from now, this room should be at least thrice its size! Because the harvest is great, and the laborers are few! But what tells me that God is on the move is that I see people movements are God movements. Acts chapter 17 says that’s God who determines our exact times and places where we shall live. Why? Verse 27 says so that men who seek him and perhaps reach out to him and find him. That’s what this is about! It’s not about your politics. It’s not about economics. It’s not about “oh yeah, this ease of transportation”, it’s because God is on the move. The question is are our eyes open to this harvest.
God is bringing them into the hands of us midwives so that Godly effectible leaders can be born to quench this world’s thirst because I tell you creation crieth! And before I sit down I’ll make sure you get to hear the cry of creation. And you must be really really really really dead in the heart not to want to do anything about creation’s cry. Dr. Charles Malik who used to serve as a UN General Assembly president said, (from Lebanon) “Universities are the clear cut fulcrum from which to change the world. More importantly than by any other means, change the university and you change the world.”
What kind of people are we getting from our universities? And what role are we playing in the kind of people we produce from our universities? We are the meticulous midwives, skillfully and passionately supervising true, Godly, effective servant leaders from our universities. Creation is crying. Let’s read Romans 8. Can we read it together? From verse 18. Paul writes and says:
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
We know that right up til now creation crieth! Creation groans for the revelation of the sons and daughters of God. Let me share this – when I have 10 more minutes let me know, because I have the Pauline anointing, I can talk for 2 and 25 hours. You know Paul would preach and preach and preach and people would fall asleep and fall off the landing and die and he would pray for them, resurrect them, take them up and continue preaching. But I want to share this fact that the creation crieth manifest, show forth! Godly effective leaders show forth! Creation crieth.
I want to share the three Ds. Number one, Manifestation Desired, number two, Manifestation Demanded, and thirdly Manifestation Dreaded. Desired, Demanded, Dreaded. Manifestation desired, the creation desires it. Manifestation demanded, the creator demands our manifestation. Manifestation of these Godly effective leaders. And the Devil dreads it.
Let me quickly talk about manifestation desired. Like we just read from Romans chapter 8. I know –and let me make it clear that just because this guy didn’t go to Bible school, instead he went to medical school, he’s got a few, uh, the hermeneutics and, no. I know the context of this scripture is scatological. I know that. I know that we’re talking about the ultimate redemption of creation at the return of Jesus Christ. I know that. Yet even now, my argument is that even now creation waits and cries for the sons of God to show up! Are we saying we’re not going to do anything about every child that dies every 16 seconds out of hunger because we’re waiting for Jesus’ return? Then why are you telling me that at staff conference 2014 you are going to see world changers? Yes, this is the ultimate, yes this is scatological, but I want us to look at now. For verse 22 of the reading we have says “We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time”. Creation knows that you and I and the international students the Lord has brought us are God’s redemptive agents of change. Creation knows! And creation is looking up to us a midwives – are they going to deliver another baby or are they going to quench another leader? In fact that scripture in verse 19 of Romans 8 that says the earnest eager expectation of creation, the big word there, the Greek word, is that apokaradokia, that anxious looking with an outstretched body. Creation is like, who’s going to come out of the University of Minnesota next? Who is gonna come out of Duke University? Who is gonna? Who? Creation cries. It’s anxiously looking at you. And the kind of work you’re going to do to see the sons and daughters of God manifested. Let me give you an example. A few examples of creation’s cry.
You know that every second four babies are born? And creation is crying, “Where are the sons and daughters of God to lead them?” You know that if we all filed up in a single file, we would circle the world 110 times? And creation’s crying, “Who’s going to lead these guys? Where are the sons and daughters of God?” The whole creation is crying in eager expectation, “Where are the leaders?” We talk about unreached people groups. You know, we still have 40% of people groups unreached in our generation? After Jesus said “Go” 2,000 years ago? And you don’t think we need leaders in reaching unreached people groups? There’s 2,000 people groups of over 5,000 population that have no single missionary. Creation is crying. Yet every day in our world today 178,000 people come to Christ. Isn’t that awesome? 178,000 a day. That’s awesome. That’s the kind of thing CNN will not report. That’s awesome. But you see, you know what is happening? There’s a huge number of people coming to Christ, about 30,000 a day in China, about the same in Latin America, about 20,000 a day in Africa. You see, huge number of converts coming to Christ! Look at the way we’re mobilizing churches – I’m not talking about church building I’m just talking about communities of faith to take care of those converts – and look at the abysmal rate at which we are growing leaders. This is your job. Creation cries, “Where are the leaders?” And I think about someone like Bakht Singh who came to Canada as an international student. He came to Canada as a Sikh. He came from the Punjabi region. He came with his head tied and everything. In fact, he had wanted to do post-grad studies in England, his parents said, “We’re not going to let you go to England. If you go there, the Christians will convert you.” So he goes to England and he swears he will not be changed, he goes to England and falls for a life of partying. Later he moves to university in Manitoba. Bakht Singh becomes a Christian through a couple who ministered to him, John and Edith Heyward. Bakht Singh becomes a Christian, goes back to India, and plants 10,000 churches. Where is the Bakht Singh you are growing? He died in 2001, 250,000 people at his funeral. Is there a Bakht Singh you are sitting on right now? Is there a Bakht Singh you need to release to answer creation’s cry? Came to you as a Buddhist, came and studied in Canada, became a Christian, start translating the Bible, he’s going back to Japan. Do you know what he’s done to the statistics in Japan? Creation crieth. Where are the sons of God? Where are the leaders?
Let me give you a few more of creation’s cry. Infant mortality - I was looking at infant mortality in the world. That is literally creation’s cry. There are more children that die before the age of one. And I look at the numbers and I realize that all the top 25 countries (or should I say the bottom 25 countries) are from Africa expect Afghanistan and Pakistan. And I remember a few months ago, walking down to McGill University because I want to see a medical student there in the medical school. One of the things I do is to mentor the international students –the medical students at McGill. And I had a chat with this girl Tina from Zimbabwe. Strong leader, she had trained at the University of Toronto and was now at medical school at McGill. And slowly Tina was beginning to fall for the traps of the western world. She was beginning to forget that God had brought her here to make her a leader to do something about this infant mortality on our continent. And I thank God that by the time I left she had repented, and said, “I want to refocus on what God wants me to do in my continent.” I wouldn’t be surprised if Tina becomes the President of Zimbabwe. She’s got what it takes.
But what I’m saying is this: God may make you a Mordechai to go to an Esther who’s forgotten that perhaps you are in the kingdom for such a time as this! How many of our students come to Canada, come to America, and all of a sudden they forget about purpose, they forget about creation’s cry, and it’s now about bills, and it’s now about credit cards, and it’s about a bigger house, and a bigger car, and they lose the sound – the sound of creation crying becomes deafened! That’s where you come in as a midwife, that’s where you come in as a Mordechai, to not let Esther go and to say, “Esther, God did not bring you to the palace to just be comfortable! Esther, God did not bring you to the University of Minnesota to be comfortable! He brought you here for such a time as this because creation is crying!”
One billion people in the earth don’t have access to safe drinking water. In 2012 India recorded the most maternal deaths, 56,000 women died. Do we have Indian international students? One billion children in the world have no access to schools. One in four have to work instead of going to school. Let’s not even talk about poverty. By the way, how many people died on 9/11? Tragic day. How many people died? About 3000 people. That’s terrible. That’s awful. But do you know how many people die a day from preventable diseases? 30,000. And it doesn’t matter because they are not American citizens. Sorry. Creation cries. Every 16 seconds a child dies of hunger. Creation cries. Three quarters of the world is illiterate. Creation cries. Now I was looking at the top 10 countries of illiteracy and it almost matches the top 10 countries that send international students to this country, apart from a few outliers. Creation is crying. Where are the sons and daughters of God?
You see, MasterCard has launched a foundation to train leaders. MasterCard has started to partner with University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, Duke University, a number of universities, because MasterCard says that it’s putting $500 million into initiatives to inspire young people, particularly from Africa, to lead change through education. And I was asking myself, so MasterCard knows that the change must come through leaders, and ISM doesn’t? They take our money but must they take our lunch too? MasterCard knows that Africa’s problem is not a water problem, it’s not an education problem, it’s not an illiteracy problem, it’s a leadership problem. But I was asking God, why is it that for years Africa has sent people to study in America? Look, you could fill a stadium with Nigerian PhDs. And yet, where’s the change? Where’s the change we need to see? And God said, leadership. You send those guys there to get technical knowledge – accounting, law, engineering – nobody teaches them leadership. And you expect them to come and lead change. So the church doesn’t teach them. The universities don’t teach them. And we don’t either. And we talk about world changers.
Let me round up, I think I have about 2 minutes. Wow. Don’t do this to an African, to an African preacher. You see I tell people that back in Africa, not many people have watches, but we have time. And over here almost everybody has a watch but they don’t have time! I don’t know which to choose. So because of time I’m not going to go into Psalm 82 but I’d like you to read it for yourself.
[God presides in the great assembly;
he renders judgment among the “gods”:
“How long will you defend the unjust
and show partiality to the wicked?
Defend the weak and the fatherless;
uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.
Rescue the weak and the needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
“The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing.
They walk about in darkness;
all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
“I said, ‘You are “gods”;
you are all sons of the Most High.’
But you will die like mere mortals;
you will fall like every other ruler.”
Rise up, O God, judge the earth,
for all the nations are your inheritance.]
Psalm 82 in the Bible talks about we have an obligation to be agents of change. He talks about the children of God, and their arguments are about whether God’s there, whether they are God’s children or whatever, for me that is neither here nor there. The thing is that God expects you, his children, in fact the psalm makes it very clear, he says that “You, the children of the Most High, should bring about change.” He says, “How long will you defend the unjust and show partiality to the wicked? Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless, maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed, rescue the weak and the needy, deliver them from the hand of the wicked, how long will this go on?” Verse 5 it says, “You are children of the Most High,” verse 6 it says, “But you are going to die like flies!” No. He says, you are going to die like mere men. You are going to fall like every other ruler. Listen up, international students are going to die like rats in the rat race. Unless we tell them that there is a life beyond the rat race! Somebody said the thing about winning the rat race is that you are still a rat. Are they going to manifest their God given destinies, or are they going to just die like flies? Read Psalm 82 on your own.
I want to end with the fact that manifestation is dreaded by the enemy. You read Revelation 12:3-4 (I’m not going to go into this because) Revelations 12:3-4 the Bible says:
Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his head. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth – (it’s all about birth today eh?) – so that he may devour her child the moment it was born.
Let me tell you. The enemy is scared stiff about ISM. If I remember some ISM’s website, they had put there that ISM is hell’s best kept secret. He’s blinded the heart of even many pastors from seeing the harvest! I tell you, I talk to some pastors and they’re like, “Mm, hmm,” and I’m like, “Don’t you get it?” Think about it. There are 1 [million] international students in North America. You have about 800,000. Canada has about 250,000. My word, just give us 10% of that and the world will shift!
All the while we are waiting for the return of Christ and the consummation of our salvation. We long for the new heaven and the new earth. But while we are here, it doesn’t matter that they are sons and daughters of God, does it matter that they are representatives of God? Are you on this planet and creation is crying? So, this cry to manifest is for the leaders to be born and for us as midwives. Let me ask you. Is something going to change about the way you see your students? They are not just students. That’s a Kim Jung Un. Now I’m going to show you in our next session some of the practical ways we can go about intentionally developing them as leaders. Because I want to tell you, evangelism is good and I do that, I’ve seen several souls come to Christ. Discipleship is awesome, we must. But if we stop there, that is not enough. And so when we come back I’m going to speak about easy ministry or strategic ministry. We’ve got to decide. But the creation is crying for the manifestation for the sons and daughters of God, and they are right in your hands. Shall we pray.
Father, we thank you for this morning. I don’t know what you are doing in the hearts of these amazing people here, but I know you are doing a good thing. Like on the day of Pentecost, when they were cut to the heart of Peter’s message and then they asked, “Men and brethren what shall we do?” Lord I pray that in the next session you give us some ideas. Because we don’t just want to be inspired and motivated. We want some tools, we want some bolts and nuts, we want to start doing this right away O God because right in our hands are the leaders O God of the nations of the world! The departmental deans of engineering and the faculty of medicine, they are the leaders O God who are changing the world. Will you shift our perspectives? Bring a paradigm shift, O God. May we, and one of the things I hate is when we call them these kids. These kids are going to determine the kind of world you have you – you retire in. Let’s stop calling them kids! Let’s see them as emerging leaders! Because that is what they are. We repent of when we’ve failed, O God as midwives because we have not been adequately prepared or we have been ignorant, or we just don’t care, or we just wanted to do what comes easy and what is simple. Help us, O Lord to be transformed today by the renewing of our minds. The more we can strategically do this ISM ministry and see world changers birthed, for creation is crying in eager expectation for the manifestation of these sons and daughters of God as global effective leaders. Oh help us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
